CVA Group honored with the prestigious "Oscar di Bilancio" award

On 25 November at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the CVA Group was awarded the prestigious Oscar di Bilancio prize, sponsored by FERPI, Borsa Italiana and Bocconi University. Now in its 57th edition, the Oscar di Bilancio each year awards the most virtuous companies in reporting and caring for stakeholder relations and is a benchmark for the economic and financial community. The award aims to enhance the ability to fully and transparently report on economic, social and environmental impacts. The CVA Group was the winner in the Large Unlisted Enterprise category. The award was given because of: "a particular clarity of exposition and method to support ease of reading. The strong territorial location is evident throughout the reporting."

Chairman Marco Cantamessa to whom the Award was presented, commented: "The CVA Group has adopted the claim "Renewable since always," having been a rare example of an integrated electricity operator for 20 years, and fully dedicated to "clean" energy. We have an ambitious Business Plan that will see our activities grow nationwide, leading us to measure ourselves against an increasingly broad and diverse set of stakeholders. In this context, financial and sustainability reporting are core values, and we are pleased and honoured that this focus of ours, which permeates all organizational structures in the Group, has been recognized with such a prestigious award."

CEO, Giuseppe Argirò, said: "The CVA Group along with the constant pursuit of quality in the industrial business of GREEN energy production and marketing places transparency and compliance at the foundation of its daily actions. Among these, the preparation of financial statements represents an absolutely important moment. This important award gives all management and the people who work at CVA a well-deserved recognition for the quality of their work."
