Valenza Fornace plant (Alessandria)
The Valenza Fornace photovoltaic power plant in Alessandria has an estimated total annual production of around 6.7 GWh. An amount of photovoltaic solar energy that can meet the annual needs of about 2,400 typical households and save about 1,500 TOE (Tons of Oil Equivalent), thus avoiding the emission of more than 3,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
CVA, just as it does with all its systems, pays special attention to sustainability and impact on the environment and local communities: a former clay quarry was exploited for the construction of this power plant, allowing both the reuse of environmentally compromised land and the reduction of the overall impact of the new installation.
